It will depend on area, as to which saws are more popular. Husky got a bad rap on the 335 in 1997 because of an oiler problem. It was warranteed, but guys still had bad feelings. They no longer have that problem.

Yes I am a Husky dealer, but I have sold Stihl for a longer period. As for the 575XP the specs seem real good, I cant get one yet though, hopefully by the end of the month. The weight is about a pound more, but with new engine requirments for EPA and the additional features they added I dont see that anyone will complain. Weight will increase in most saws because of what they will have to do to pass emisions. Even trimmers, over the past few years, have gained a pound with new engine designs.

Glad I just bought a 372 and Dolmar 7900 in the last year.

The EPA can keep there compliant saws,lol.A That 575 when will weigh close to what a 066 weighs. husky always fudges on their weighs to the tune of at least a lb by not including the bars nuts, sprocket cover and bucking spikes in the advertised wieght.
In regards to the 335, and 338. The both still have a bad rep. Go over to one of the arborist sites and this will be confirmed. Echo and Stihl TH seem to be the saws of choice.

BTW i talked to my dealer the other day about which is more popular 3/8lp or .325. He said .325 by about 2 to 1.
