CFM performance breather

2013 equinox 2.4 this breather has a check valve that over pressure opens up to release pressure. Anybody have any downsides on this product. PVC system clogs up and can blow out the rear main seal.

I put one on the Hellcat. Since I installed it, I get a bit less oil in the catch can. It's a quality product that I put in the can't hurt/might help category, especially for forced induction.
