Time for a vote, is Cermax a useful cost effective product with good customer support and a reasonable refund policy and are results repeatable, or .... Is it snake oil?

Dealers need not respond. I would like to hear from users of the product if any and no cheap shots from the peanut gallery.

If you have not used the product keep your comments to their marketing and your reaction to the image they project.

This product has been kicked around and we do not need any more of that from spectators.

I have received pm’s and e-mails from people that do not wish to go public and I would ask that they now reconsider.

My experience is second hand and unless those uses go public I have no comment on using the product. The best I can say is that their marketing makes them look like so many other operations that produce absolutely useless products again and again and again. I was offered the product for free but lacked confidence in the company and the data they supplied to risk pouring it in one of my vehicles.

Responses, please and please try to follow the guide lines. We want a dialog not a witch hunt.

The image they project is one of a company that doesn't have anything other than questionable anecdotal evidence that their product works.

And that million dollars they said that they spent on testing forgot to include Mobil 1. Don't you just hate it when you don't get that job with a budge of one million bucks to test an additive?

Are you happy that you explicitly asked for "no cheap shots from the peanut gallery?" Imagine the intellectual content of the responses if you had left it open.

Think they are trying hard to be the newest "Slick 50" marketing success.

Hey, maybe they'll get lucky and SOPUS will buy them!

F150,5.4,with 81000 mi.I put 2oz motor,1oz in trans,and
2oz in rear diff.I put 1500 mi on it.
Did vib and noise go down.YES
Did mpg go up.YES 10%
Start easier,faster.yes
Is it going to last.DON'T NO

wish I could vote. I have condisdered purchasing. However, I have not seen enough info to help me decide. The are a few posts, but opinion seems very much divided on teh product and ocmpany.

Two cars. One turbodiesel, one diesel.
The turbodiesel have automatic transmission, where I put 2 oz in. Transmssion shifts a lot smoother.
Noise from both engines down soe 30-40%
Pulls better
Smoother idling
Mpg up some 8-10%
Have been driving some 12000 miles with both cars, since putting Cermax in. No sign of detoriation.
Several friends of mine have used it with simmilar results.

I would considder it to be very cost-effective, since it is a one-time treatment. In regards to customer support, I have received answers to my questions. The refund policy I know nothing about, since I haven't asked for a refund. I don't judge the product based on what I think about the company, I judge it for what it does. And yes, it seem to perform very well.

deepsquat,
I been a member for years,just because i don't have 3000
posts,makes me a suspect.First i'm not a secret agent for
cermax,i just tried the stuff OK.I don't post much because
i don't have much time,and i hate to type.Im glad you like
me!

I see that the socalled "tribe", standing outside yelling about something they haven't been testing yet, is still going strong. Funny to have so many opinions about things you don't have any firsthand knowledge about. I am quite sure that if you read about it day and night for 10 years, it is worth less than a real test, that can be performed in 60 minutes. However, that's just my opinion, and I respect your right to disagree.

Another thing to considder, is the fact that several people have tested Cermax now. Where are all the frustrated customers, that have discovered that Cermax isn't working? The only ones that seem to claim it is worthless, are those who haven't been testing it(at least this seem to be the case here).

Another thing, if I dare to mention it, is the fact that if you take a look at the success-rate of another, but more accepted additive here, you will find that many people have used this additive, without noticing any benefits.

Lol, another thing -another thing -another thing. Ja Ja Jonny, have you ma ma made your point yet?

"If you have not used the product keep your comments to their marketing and your reaction to the image they project."

I have not used the product and probably never will due to their marketing and the image they project. If they act like shysters selling snake oil, what are we supposed to think?

Hi, Shelby. I thought so, but if you didn't understand it, my point is this: You still don't have any clue about what you are talking about, since you haven't tested Cermax. I know that for some people ignorence is a blessing, and you have clearly demonstrated it. Every word you write about a product that you only have read about, clearly show us that you have no experience from the real world, about this product.

By the way,I really don't think you have any truth to contribute with, but at least the amusement-factor, is high.

I will not use the product if there is even a hint of potential long term damage which has not been proven to me at this point.

Heck, I want to believe. That stated, I agree with your comments regarding their marketing and image.
