Cellphone Charger

I bought a charger and was unable to read the instructions that came with it. The type was too small and too light. So, I have a quick question.

There are two slots in the head to take a USB cable.

Is the larger slot for USB-A, or slower charging?
When I cant read instruction, I take a photo of them with my phone in the window daylight (using no flash) and then
zoom in on the photo and read away. I find I have to do this all the time.

PD is USB-C fast charging standard.

Thanks ... good idea ... don't know why I didn't think of it.

Maybe it because you and I have been using telephones since the 1950's and sometimes forget they have a camera now :)

You can also put the phone camera on MACRO setting (with the flower icon) and hover and not take a photo - it works as a magnifying glass

You might be on to something. There have been times when I've had my phone and wanted to take a simple snap and thought that I needed to get my little camera.

Thanks for the Macro setting tip. I like that.

This is a bit off-topic, but since you brought it up, I thought about my phone use when I was a kid. I started using the phone in 1947. My parents showed me how to use it to call a neighbor if there was an emergency. There was a short list of the neighbors' numbers by the phone. They also taught me to dial the operator for help or assistance. For a year or two after we moved into the house, we had a party line. Phone numbers were alphanumeric, and a number in my neighborhood was Davenport 6-3604.

This is what I purchased. Seems to be working just fine, although I've only used it a very short time, primarily to make certain the repair to the power outlet was done properly.
Mine continues to work well, as well as the one I bought for my lady friend. She says it works real good on her iPhone SE. It is a battery pig.

The rotary phone reminded me of this segment from Mr Wizard's World which probably aired around 1985/86:

i have a nameless Chinese usb adapter, its got an aluminum housing and hasn't let me down. i use it as a voltage gauge mostly and once in a great while I go on a longer trip and actually need it
