Cell towers all over

Good grief. When did I say the cell tower is harmful? I think I was careful to say that there was no demonstrated connection between these devices and adverse health effects. I said I err on the side of caution.

I think that mixing ionizing and non ionizing radiation is not a good comparison because the biological effects are different, but yeah, clearly higher frequencies have higher photon energy, and are potentially more harmful, if you want to use that term. That's not even open to controversy. Look at your chart - would you rather bask in visible sunlight or X-rays? I know which one I'd pick.

There are local people that have bee companies that bring hives to farms and orchards for the farmers and raise queen bees to ship all over the country and in conversation they tell me that there is a problem with some king of mite that kills the hives unless medicine is given to the bees. Wild hives do not last a year because of the mites.

My bad, total misunderstanding on my side.

Thanks for clearing up.

also dont run radio control cars/trucks near a military radar, they will go crazy. and dont for get the military can and DOES broadcast on ALL frequencys

Nor does anyone else I know.

You had a thread not to long ago about having migraines?

I had headaches and dizziness which I attributed to high stress levels at the time. Things got easier, the stress mostly went away, and with it so did the headaches. I don't get them anymore, and my life is much more relaxed now than it was then.

Don't be so quick to dismiss the effects of all these radio signals that you keep so close to your head while you sleep. Perhaps you are more prone to headaches and migraines because of that?

I'm not a doctor, but a person at your age and responsibility level should not have severe headaches accompanied by dizziness. Take these symptoms as a caution because things like that only get worse as you age.

I also do not trust all the claims of how these signals are safe for us. You can throw all the theory at me you want, but one little fact still remains true, we know very little about our bodies, especially the brain, and how some things function. We have stories of cancer patients that were pronounced "living dead", but fully recovered without any treatments and doctors have no explanation for that.

Our bodies are not machines, we all react to different things differently, some get sick, some don't at all, some will live into their 100's in poverty and cruel living conditions, while others will die prematurely living in luxury and being surrounded by modern science.

So with all these variables and untapped potentials of human body, how can anybody tell me with any sort of certainty that radio waves have no effect on us??

While I understand that there is no escaping the technology, I will not go out of my way to surround myself with needles radio signals.

Short term: you can do double blind tests and check the correlation between those who got exposure vs non exposure. Both test subjects and testers must not be aware of whether they are really exposed to real radiation or not.

Long term: track cell phone usage and and health impact over the entire life of the population. We will know in 40 years whether it has any impact or not.

Then you steal Doc Brown's time machine go back 40 years in the past and tell yourself to stop using cell phones, kind of like how Biff did with a sports almanac from the future in BTTF II.

In 40 years, I'm hoping for flying cars at least! In BTTF II, it was 2015, the cubs won the world series and flying cars. now, it's 2011, nowhere close to both.

RF radiation like from a cellphone will not ionize atoms. That is, it will not cause the atoms to release an electron or other mass the way that x-ray or others can do.

That said, the energy content of a molecule can be related to vibrational, translational, rotational and other energetic content. Now, mass objects can hold natural frequencies in that within their constrained mass, certain frequency vibrations can cause motion. For a molecule existng within a constrained space, I see no reason why low level energy could not induce oddball motion to the molecules. This could change their structure, behavior, etc.

As I understand it, the way that protein fold and exist in their situations can effect health.

So this is all speculation, but I do not see it unfeasible that different energy content of different frequencies could be inducing odd resonances on molecules within the body could. This could have somewhat of an effect on how they behave and how they effect the body.

As I recall, 5W ultrasonic cleaners can break down cell walls, so it may not take much...

It is a physical wave with water or solvent, not electromagnetic wave.

Sound waves travel through solids, gas, and liquids. By the way, water is a solvent.

Ultrasound waves have been shown to affect a fetus's brain development.
