True. Eastern makes a CARB approved line,their 49 state line is very well made and works without issue even on real problem vehicles like some Toyota.All aftermarket cats are not created equal.Eastern guarantee is 5/50 on materials and performance.

Paulo - The CARB approved Magnaflows probably have more media in them, etc. The 49 state approval requirements aren't as strict, so they can get by with less.
