im looking for castrol trans synd. i had to replace the clutch and clutch slave cylinder. had to drain the transmission fluid and transfer case fluid in my 2002 chevy 2500hd 4x4 with the 8.1 it has the zf six speed manual. anyone know where to get it or is it a dealer deal. thanks

Any supplier selling Castrol products should be able to get it. Use the yellow pages.
Some autoparts stores can order any product if their distributor can get it. Just because its not stocked, doesn't mean they can't find it.
Also, most truck repair and parts places for big rigs should be able to get it.
Any transmission shop that services Allison should have it too.
Amsoil sells ATD for this application.

Any TES-295 fluid meets the requirements of that vehicle.

Also, know that for most practical purposes, the clones will work fine as well, and they include Amsoil ATD, Schaeffer 204S-AT, and D A Lubricants AutoTrans-5.
