Castrol Syntec 10w40 In Goldwing.

Local Wal-Mart has Syntec 10w40 on clearance or $15.00 for 5 quarts. Is there any reason to not run this oil in a Honda GL1800? I know that Goldwing’s are not hard on oil.

I say do it. I run whatever synthetic oil is on sale. Always non energy conserving auto oil. I have never used motorcycle specific oils. I would run it for that price.

That sounds like a good deal for a decent, compatible oil. How many miles do you plan to run it?

With this oil I would go 3,500 to 4,000 miles before changing.
