Needing to do an ATF + filter change on our 90's Buick and came across Castrol Dexron III/Mercon for Higher Mileage Vehicles, at Autozone.

Is it really that much better and worth the extra couple bux per qt.than say, the conventional Castrol DexIII/Mercon or the Valvoline MaxLife ATF?

Havent been able to find ant feedback / info on this particular ATF here on BITOG...

DexIII is no longer licensed by GM so you could get anything without regulation. Use DexVI it is backwards compatible.

Valvoline Maxlife is a group III synthetic....Id go Valvoline over Castrol on many many products.

BTW....its what I am running in my G body Monte Carlos without any problems.
