Castrol GTX & ARX

I'm sure this has been asked...and answered here before, but I did a few searches and don't see specifically if regular Castrol GTX 5w30 (not that weight matters) is OK to use for the cleaning and rinse phase with ARX.

It's not a big deal to run up to the corner and buy something that will work better but I have 5qts of Castrol GTX so I figured I'd use it with the ARX.

I know you can use Group III's, which I believe Castrol GTX is, although I'm not sure, but is it better to just go buy a cheap Group I to use with ARX....will a cheaper Group I work better or does it not matter?

IMHO Castrol GTX and AutoRx is a good match. Use it for cleaning/rinse phase with confidence.

Great! Thanks for the quick reply Quest. Been using the Castrol GTX in my engines for years, plan on running the Auto RX with the Castrol GTX and a Purolator Pure One filter.
