Castrol Edge?

I'm looking for alternative engine oils to run in my new
Jeep SRT8 (6.1L Hemi)
As the OEM specified Mobil 1 0W-40 seems to be in the
group III catagory I would prefer to use 100% IV/V
oil.
My search has included Motul, Elf, Amsoil, LubroMoly,
and others.
The Castrol Edge 0W-40 looks interesting but is it
available in the USA?

Not at my Walmart. Only 0W-XX is Mobil 1 0W-20.

I have never seen Castrol 0W-40 anywhere (Wal-Mart, Checkers, AutoZone, Pep Boys, Mills Fleet Farm, Menard's).

How about Castrol Syntec 5W-40 or maybe even Castrol Syntec 0w30 which is a "thick" A3-rated 30-weight oil? What weight(s) does your Jeep spec?

Try Motul Ester E-tech 0w-40.

Castrol 0W40 is available in Australia but I think its an 'oceania' oil only.

Where is a good place to buy the Motul 8100?
There are two products in 40 range
0W-40
5W-40
The 0W says it's designed to be for engines requiring low HTHS?
Can't find what the HTHS is on this oil.

I'd go with Mobil 1. Its been around for decades and it's proven, and i've never heard a bad word about it.
