Castrol Edge extended w/Ti

I just noticed this oil today at AA. 15K oil w/titanium FST. Is this Castrol's answer to M1EP? It's got dexos and HTO-06 approvals.

That's killer, but I guess TBN is only a piece of the puzzle.
 
It is not exactly the same baseoils but same additive package according to the MSDS. There is actually Gp V (fatty ester) in this formula. (copied from G-Oil)

It appears to be a little thicker than the old Edge. Their website listed the KV as 61.4 cSt@40°C & 10.7 cSt@100°C.

I consider the old FST an excellent choice for an S2000. I haven't tried the new one yet though, we'll see:

I think that back when they introduced Gold Edge, they advertised 15,000 mile oil changes, but then they eliminated that claimed when it became Gold Edge FST.

Ah, whatever. I use it in a car that requires 5000 mile oil changes for warranty purposes.
