I just noticed this oil today at AA. 15K oil w/titanium FST. Is this Castrol's answer to M1EP? It's got dexos and HTO-06 approvals.

Exactly. Its been around for a few although they renamed it. It used to be edge with ti
Is it the exact same oil, just relabeled with the 15K? I asked but could not get a straight answer from the Castrol 1-800 line.
Would some users like to chime in and tell your likes or dislikes?
The TBN was really high, around 13 IIRC.

It is not exactly the same baseoils but same additive package according to the MSDS. There is actually Gp V (fatty ester) in this formula. (copied from G-Oil)

It appears to be a little thicker than the old Edge. Their website listed the KV as 61.4 cSt@40°C & 10.7 cSt@100°C.

I consider the old FST an excellent choice for an S2000. I haven't tried the new one yet though, we'll see:

I think that back when they introduced Gold Edge, they advertised 15,000 mile oil changes, but then they eliminated that claimed when it became Gold Edge FST.
Ah, whatever. I use it in a car that requires 5000 mile oil changes for warranty purposes.
