Every bottle of Castrol Edge Euro I’ve bought has had a 5 digit code for the year (first two digits), and day of the year (last three digits).
Yep. It’s odd that Castrol couldn’t help you with that. I had bought some Castrol EDGE Extended Performance awhile back, and I had a question that required the batch code and they were able to determine all they needed to answer my question from the bottle codes.
