I am looking for an alternative to the Castrol BNS grease that is currently used in my track day car.
Finding Castrol BNS grease is proving to be difficult. The grease has served very well in my application for a high powered car over many years.
I inspected the bearings and they are still are in very good condition.

The data sheet for the grease warns against mixing grease. The BNS grease is a clay based Bentone based grease.

I am looking for compatible alternatives. So far I have identified the following.

Schaeffer 97 Moly Pure Bentone Base Synthetic Grease
Schaeffer 260 Perma Moly NLGI #1, #2 or #3 - Bentone Base (extra moly formula)
Schaeffer 248 Moly Syngard 2000 NLGI #1, #2 or #3 - Bentone Base
LUBRIPLATE "930" Series Multi-Purpose, High Temperature, Bentone Type Grease
Jet-Lube AP-5™ High Temperature Grease with Molybdenum Disulphide (Bentone)

Does anyone have a recommendation of which grease is suitable for my application? Also which one not to use?

I appreciate any help that you can provide. (BTW, I am located in Canada)
Thanks,
peter

Not specific to your application but I have used Jet-Lube before for their moly paste (MP50). They don't come up around here very much and I am very curious to hear about the performance of the rest of their line... so if you happen to go with that brand, please post!

What are you actually using the grease for? Can you clean it out and use something else? Other greases may prove just as good.

Spheerol BNS has no moly, any reason you're looking at moly greases alternatives?
