I see that my MC Cartridge filter at WalMarts jumped from $3.49 to $5.8x last month. WM is now more expensive the Wix at my local AP.

Yea, but look on the bright side. Next week it will be marked down to $5.49 and their clearance label will say that you saved $0.40 over the old price.

This sounds like the logic a former coworker used to use to justify some of her spending to her husband...."but it was 50% off, I saved you $400 by buying this compared to what it could have cost!"
