Need an oil filter

Mann, Mahle, or Hengst. One of them is the OE supplier. Rock Auto carries all three, but other places may also sell them.

I think i remember it, believe it was a canister filter. The cartridge filters are sturdier.

woops! you mentioned cartridge filters in your post...my misunderstanding. yes it was a spin-on.

Who has a decent oil filter for tsi ea888.3? I would use fram ultra but not sure about the quality of their paper cartridge filters, all I can say is that the spin on filters are of excellent quality.

Fram makes fantastic oil filters, I just find their cartridge filters questionable due to peoples experiences on the forums with them being all wavy/looks like they are about to tear

But have they torn? Lots of cartridge filters, regardless of brand, come out with wavy pleats.
