Happy New Year!

Off a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.4L. 75K

CarQuest R85334, 4,000 miles. Maxlife+ 5W-20. Filter is PG made. Looked really good. Only downside is the ADBV a little stiff and a bit excess glue in spots. Holes, not louvers. Sun was so bright, couldn’t get a good pic.

What was the black smear on the last photo? otherwise nice filter.
There was some carbon in filter housing. I had started to wipe it out but changed my mind to take photo as is. So, probably my fault it was "pushed" into that spot, looking like a smear.

I had done four 4K OCI's with Valvoline Restore and Protect oil. Then, last change, used some Valvoline Maxlife+ High Mileage. Went back to the Valvoline Restore and Protect and will probably just continue to use that. It's my sons car.

Nice work sir

Other than the excess potting blob in the one area, looks good. They do know how to make the pleats looks like they are ironed straight.

Thanks for c&p.

even the bottom of the barrel premium guard looks better than a top tier fram or purolator filter after usage other than the ADBV. wish silicone adbvs were standard on all filters. great work!

Looks great! I got a ton of these same type of filters of RA during clearance. Thanks!
Yeah, that's where I got these. Have 4 more. I put in an OEM this time.....I couldn't find the box of the Carquest! Found it today. My wife moved some stuff in garage to get the Christmas lights, so box got misplaced. Lol
