Hello again. I installed this filter last October 2022. Off friends 2019 KIA Forte base model. Put Quaker State Ultimate Durability 5w30 in at that time. Lady friends vehicle; vehicle had only 3,009 miles on it when I changed oil yesterday. Put KIA/HYUNDAI OEM filter, new crush washer and Quaker State Ultimate Durability 5w30 I have in sump. Looks good I say. 38,xxx on vehicle and she doesn’t drive vehicle much she walks 2.7 miles to her work.

Does look like an Ecore. Not sure why Champ didn't put enough media in it? At least it didn't tear... Looks like a sub-$2 RA special, costs a LOT more from AAP!

I Like the green bypass valve plastic. reminds me of some 50's aqua color that was popular during 50's & 60's. All in doesn't look too bad.

Look at the SUPER TECH 9688 I and others cut open. Same gasket
