Carquest premium,old ac Delco..pics

Changed my air filters today. Onleft,is ac Delco I bought Amazon 4 years ago has about 30-34,000 miles on it.
On right is new car quest premium filter.98% efficient at 20 microns.
You can see,carquest has less media.irs Purolator made,made in USA.coukd only upload 2 pics on this,so I'll add more after

That’s one of the sloppier glue jobs I’ve seen in a while, too (on the CQ one). I’ve bought NAPA Gold air filters when they’ve had their fleet filter sale, Wix is (hopefully not WAS) capable of better than that.

Is that CQ filter actually shorter/thinner than the AC, if you lay them side by side? Or is the glue just covering some of the media to make it look shorter?

Looking up older stuff,sorry I never replied! Yes,the car quest premium one ,the pleats are half,shorter than the AC Delco ones,on left.
