Carquest blue -ok for long OCI?

I use Mobil 1 5w-20 in my '04 civic. I have been using Mobil extended performance oil filters for 10k mile OCI. I want to switch to Carquest blue premium filters. Will the Carquest handle 10k mile OCI? Thanks in advance

Yep! The CarQuest Blue is the same as a Wix or Napa Gold - a well built filter.

I use the Read (cheaper) I have no problem going extended on them.

Vehicles generally don't need the Mobil 1 micro filterings... unless you want your junkyard engine (after the body rusts) to be the cleanest junkyard engine in town.

There are plenty of BITOGERs here who have run Fram exclusively for well over 200K... some 300K - with no engine repairs.

I won't buy Frams ever -- but you don't need to spend more than $6-$7 for a very good, extended drain filter. Napa/Wix, Pure Ones, Bosch are the most expensive filter I will purchase.
