The filter is made by MANN with a syn blend media. It is very expensive at $33.

Been using wix/Napa for a while now, just bought this to see it. I don't usually use fram ether.

The CQ cartridge for my Touareg lists for $17.99 and is The factory Mahle cartridge in a CQ box. (NAPA is Mann.)

5 quarts full synthetic and the filter are $32.99 all day, every day. How is that a bad deal?

Not everyone has a Fram XG available for their car. I won't run an XG cartridge in anything I own after seeing the failures posted here.

Edit: Even cheaper than my wholesale price on Amazon,

I show $10.60 for these on my Amazon Business account. IMO, Hengst is ALWAYS the way to go on these!

Yeah, the OE filters are cheaper but for some reason I've been using the aftermarket ones
