Carpet cleaning

I spritz a good amount of Simple Green over the carpet and then rub back and forth with a damp towel.
Works great.

For cleaning my automotive carpets and mats, I use a Bissel Little Green Machine ProHeat, followed by Prestone Upholstry Cleaner with the red brush atached to the top of the can. After each step, I rub stains with a hot damp towel.

Try the OxyClean mixed with hot water also.

After everything dries, follow with an application or two of Scotch Guard.

Water & Woolite solution (5 to 1 ratio) applied via spray bottle. Wet the fibers and gently work the carpet area with a soft brush, you will see the soap spread and flatten the stain area. Try not to flood or saturate carpet, tough to dry when the padding below gets wet. Use a wet towel and a rinse bucket of warm water to blot the area removing the soap solution. You can use a wet/dry vac to extract the rinse water as you wet/rinse the carpet if you wish, like an extractor

I used the woolite & water solution to remove a koolaid stain from my tan carpet in my 626, worked great, I sprayed it down and scrubbed w/ a brush and the stain came right out. I tried the extractor ideal w/ my wet dry vac and that really did the trick.
