Car prices still strong at auction when measuring what carmax will pay for the exact vehicle

Until the UAW goes on strike next month... then all bets are off.
Due to the interconnections within the economy
this might turn out…

Nobody needs a car if they don’t have a job.

Behind the scenes there are interests that would prefer the UAW strike 3-6 months because it’s assumed we are entering a downturn and a strike is cheaper than a shutdown.

Going to be ugly, bet on that.

When things are gold and silver are dropping in uncertain times ( folks usually buy them up), then you know things will be bad.

The YouTube channel hype might not be wrong…..

A large sedan /3 row SUV might be an easier choice to find….

Over on Reditt for every positive Carvana story there are 10 bad ones.....problems with disclosing issues and representing the condition of the vehicle.
Been there, done that, fought with them for 3 months. Truck was obviously in a low speed accident that damaged both from and rear bumpers. It was a spray & pray with over spray on every plastic piece. Plus a dent in the rockers on one side that wasn't disclosed. They did pay for a mechanical issue that cropped up. The ignition lock was screwed up and you couldn't always remove the key. Otherwise the truck is rust free from GA.
