I saw this in a supermarket parking lot. I assume fire dept had left but no tow truck had arrived. Driver was walking around talking on his cell.

I always wonder what caused it?

I assume totaled.

Looks like the fire dept chopped away at the radiator support to get in.

Going off the smoke marks on the hood I think it was hotter over the passenger bank of the motor, as the char is more "sooty" elsewhere. Leaky valve cover gasket got on the exhaust? Car doesn't look loved, based on the foggy headlights.

I'd assume totaled too. Would ruin my day, regardless of car value. I mean, it's something that now has to be replaced--presumably, it was at the supermarket because it was in use & needed. I say that, one year I wrecked a spare vehicle and it ruined the rest of my day--and I didn't "need" the car. Following year my daughter wrecked a car, which was needed, and that ruined my day too (perhaps more than just about the car). The other day I hit a deer and it ruined my morning... but the car wasn't totaled and I was still able to get to work & home.

Uber? maybe I could have gotten one for the deer strike, but I bet the bill to get home would have been awful.

No idea. But this is in Delaware. After living here for 4 years I have come to realize that not much happens in Delaware.

It's a small state, terrorists might not be able to find it.
I always loved Rehoboth as a teenager. But that was in the 60's. I was born in Dover.

Definitely totaled. Maybe on a new car they’d fix it with that damage but it’s not likely.
I bet I can get the mileage from the odometer. Backfeeding through the cigarette lighter has worked many times for me.

Also a great way to set the car on fire again.
