Canadian Tire Eliminator Smart Charger

I’m thinking Canadian Tire made a deal with a Made in China supplier to label it “ Eliminator” but wouldn’t be surprised if the electronics are identical to some other brand names.
Poor name choice, imo. Defender, Saver, Protector or something like that makes more sense than Eliminator when maintaining batteries.

I only hook up the battery tender to my Corvette once a week because I have no outlet in the underground garage (I use a rechargeable power supply to provide the power to the tender). It only takes about two hours to fully charge the battery.
Link to rechargeable power supply?

This is the one I have, and it’s on sale for the next couple of days

Thanks. Doesn't seem to rate very well lol.
Basically what I need is a stored power source that will power a battery tender/charger.
I don't have a power outlet in my space either:(
I have had this unit for a few years and it’s working well for me. The bad reviews are probably from people who let it sit for too long between charging it. I did that with the first one that I bought and it stopped holding a charge. You are supposed to charge it at least once every three months.

It is perfect for powering up a battery tender for a few hours at a time. As I mentioned earlier, I hook up my battery tender for about 2-3 hours once a week. That’s enough time to keep the battery topped up in the Corvette and then it only takes about 8-10 hours to recharge the powerbox. They have larger units as well but this size works for me. And as a bonus it can be used to give a dead car battery a boost.

My last smart charger died after 14 years. It lost its ability to stop charging when full and was trying to repair batteries that were just fine.

I bought the Canadian Tire Eliminator 5 A ( max) charger. It also has a 1 A setting but both go through the smart charge format. It also has multiple settings such as AGM and deep cycle. Enjoy.

The Bulk1-Bulk2-Bulk3 charging profile looks like something the marketing department wanted.
