Sears in Mexico is a separate company than the US and is thriving. Couldn't resist walking through it, they even use the 1980's SEARS logo that I think looks much better than the one Sears in the US uses.

In that country, the Kmart is the same as their Target. Neither have any relation to the US stores of the same name. Therefore, @dishdude still gets credit for Target

You are correct, they are under the same ownership.

My best friend in HS was a Kmart K-Care Auto Service Tech on the weekends. They had Pennzoil 20w40 in the bulk tank.

I remember it took one of their techs four hours to change the shocks on my 69 Plymouth. I was around 17 at the time and didn't know any better.

I think she had an itch.

I worked at Kmart for my first job. I liked it (minimum wage was $3.25/hr). I was in the garden section as a stockboy. Fun, but the rats were a bit scary. About the size of small dogs.
