If you can, this would save me:

1. Printing this thing
2. Walking farther in the heat than I have to
3. Paying like $2.65 (??) to fax ONE PAGE.

Are there any services that let you do this?

Yes, the capability exists, I used in in a job in 2004. I'm not sure what the software required is any more.

Can't. It's to Municipal Court, I'm trying to avoid a warrant, though from that particular city, having a warrant is the same as not having a warrant.

I have the Fax number to the Judge's chambers, where the Clerk straight up told me: "All we do is put it on the Judge's desk when he takes the bench, with his docket." Nice job...

Yes, there are MANY online services that will allow you to fax a document.

Why not just EMAIL them the document and be done with it?

ATTN: Hon. Judge Dion Williams
Newark Municipal Court

RE: Cornholio's appearance, Friday 11:30AM, Room 108

Dear Your Honor:
Hello. I have been blessed with a job interview late Friday morning, 9/4/15. I humbly request a new Court date, at the latest time you can give it, to let my Restoration letter come. (Everything has still been paid so whenever they decide to mail it. I had the notice for my ticket number but I don’t want to commit it to memory.) The Room 305 window told me to fax this to you.

Have a great day, and Thank you in advance. Sincerely - Cornholio

LOOKS LIKE IT WORKED!!

Do you all trust the confirmation provided?

Looks like you accomplished your task, but in the future you can also try HelloFax . You get 5 or so free faxes before you need to pay. I've used them several times, and it works great.

If you have a landline(rare these days) AND a computer with a modem you can print to fax and send that way beyond those email tools.

Windows nearly always has Fax as one your destination "printers".

I'm surprised you found a free fax send service. It's one of the things out there that I thought had no free sending ability.

I think the earlier ones were abused by spammers, but I'm guessing.
When I want to fax something I have to hook up an old fax machine to a POTS line and send it out. Much easier to receive one through one of the free services.

You can call the court to verify they received the fax.

I am still at a loss that FAX still holds on. Come on, it is like the VHS of data transmittal.

Another problem with FAX is that it relies on people to go over and grab the paper off the fax machine.

To Cornhole, $2.65 isn't THAT much when it comes to making sure the court gets your stuff and a bench warrant is not issued for you.

I can't stand FAX either. It holds on because it was granted legal status years ago, and laws don't change quickly enough to keep up with technology.
