Can you crimp cable ferrules with a hydraulic crimper?

I have a Temco hydraulic crimper with dies from 10AWG to 600MCM, would be sweet if I could crimp a cable ferrule or do I need a seperate crimper?

Looking to work on some small cables around 1/8"- 3/16" max dia.

I've crimped battery connections (for a solar install) with a cable crimper. Had to do like 50 of them in 1/0 cable.

1/0 cable? what was that 30 panels in parallel?
There has to be a more efficient way.. mini inverters?

This was for the battery bank. 24v system, 12 batteries. 1/0 welder cable was used.

Forgot to mention, the crimper dies are a "hex" shape and not round. I would think it could work but never tried it.

Yes, cable crimps are hex as well.
