can oxygen sensor be cleaned/rejuvenated?

Scotty Kilmer did a video on washing catalytic converters.
"It might not work but it can be done", I believe closed the segment.
This video is just as useful.

Seriously, can some condition clog an O2 sensor or a catalytic converter with a blanket of soot so thick it'd stop it from functioning?
I doubt it.

If I'm going through the labor of taking it off (which can be a real bear) I'm just changing it. Maybe I'm lucky, but haven't had to change more than a couple in my lifetime (I did both and a catalytic converter in sons Kia), and it was like $65 on Rockauto.

Fantasy - honestly. Put a new one in.

We have had various members here (many former) who used to put all kids of stuff in their gasoline to “clean” cats, or O2 sensors.

None of them successful.
