can anyone read a date code from a delco upf--

I recently puchased two dozen ac delco upf filters. I am trying to figure out if these are old stock or recently made here are the date codes:

UPF-52 022004W2
UPF-44 122203W2

Does anyone know what number is what on the date
code?

Looks like the UPF-52 was manufactured Feb. 20, 2004. And the UPF-44 was manufactured Dec. 22, 2003. Hope this helps.

The W might stand for the manufacturing plant and the 2 might be which shift they were manufactuted on.

That's what I thought. That means that these are new filters!
