Camera flash as notification light on iPhone

iPhone owners: what is the "good" app that makes the camera flash blink as a notification light? My Dad needs something like that since he never seems to notice when he has a missed call or unanswered text message/email.

Also, wasn't there a way in iOS 6 to have "repeat" reminders? i.e. vibrate every 5 minutes for unacknowledged messages

He has an iPhone 4, if it matters.

Not sure on the setting. I do know I get repeat reminders automatically. If I get a text and do not look at it, the phone will alert me again in like 3-5 min.

You can have iOS give you repated alerts for messages, not sure about email though. Go into settings, notifications, messages, and scroll down to "repeat alert" and then select the interval.

I think that setting is for the small LED light not the actual bright camera flash. I could be mistaken as I have an Android.
