I will have to check for the batch #, but looks like that extra 8 qts is safe for now.

Sorry man that's fools gold you have there, I cleaned that place out of green a long time ago and I just went last night to check since I read your post and its all gold. Read the FAQ.

Yeah, you're right...M0533XXXXXX....Gold. Just put it in my wife's Saturn anyway, and will test it in the RX-7. It's still cheaper than the RP Racing 21 and Red Line, anyway, even at my Distributor pricing.

I used to get GC all day long in San Diego until about a year ago...stupid BITOGers! :)

LOL! JW, if you live in San Diego the cost of living is so high I'm sure you need every advantage you can find. I'll be interested in your opinion after your wifes Saturn get a few miles on the "Gold".

FD777, Er, I didn't drive all of that, but had the local AZ guys call their sister stores to find out if they stocked the 0-30 Syntec. I recall a while back that there was a BITOG'er in the SLO town area so I didn't check past King City.

From your list I wager on Richmond, Vallejo, Modesto, and maybe Stockton as possibles.

Keep us posted please. John

Another trip. If I hit Vallejo, I think the entire Bay Area is covered

Anyone else enjoy hunting the green as much as I do? It reminds me of when I was a kid, trying to find treasure in my backyard. Or trying to find some rare video games and toys...

I feel like saying,
"Call me Ishmael"

Oops, didn't see Weasel's post until it was too late.

I cleared out the Hollister one a couple months back. Only had 5 qrts. They dont even stock the gold stuff now.

The Los Banos one only had Gold when I stopped there on my way to Yosemite back in January

Is this the new U.S. stuff that I've being hearing about or is it old stuff from 5 years ago?

This is the old U.S. stuff M02xxxx.

If I see any new U.S. stuff, I'll be sure to post in the AC thread.

Glad you joined in here.

Pictures of the gold are not required. You might just let us know what the date code on the bottom is though, just for grins. John

Don't worry about the pictures unless you've found the new post-GC made in US stuff.

First - Thanks

Second, the date code is M060876 (I think it's enough). Also it has MB 229.5 and VW 503 01 certification (I saw somewere on this forum that people are interested in those numbers) and on the front of the bottle it says European Formula.
API - SL/CF.
And last - sorry for my English but what does it mean "grins" ?
