Again, I don't have any experience with them, but soot production occurs in a linear format. So many hours ..so much soot ..however little or much that is.

If the centrifuge traps nothing during that short a drain interval, then the dispersants have to fatigue enough for the particles to group up to the range that the centrifuge can trap; which I believe is very small.
