2003 6spd 2nd motor (Rev-up) got 90,000 miles. It need rear body work plus new rear bumper. It got vortex supercharged kit pushing below 400 hp according to owner told me never been dyno. It got coilover, Volk gt 19' wheels, supercharged, turboxs (untune) that it all he got. If i take over then i may need header, tunning, new motor n many more if something fails.

He want 15k plus i do rear body work. After i take over then i wont have warranty or he won't be responsibly for car whatever happen.

Should i take it? To me it look like not good deals. but idk.

That sounds like a horrible deal. For that coin you could buy freakin' M5, which has 400HP stock and doesn't need that kind of work.

OR

You could buy an '03/'04 Cobra, which can make 1000HP on the stock internals.

Bad deal. Friend bought a 04 G35 brembo 6MT for 16k with 90k miles on original everything.unmolested and highway driven by an older guy. Only bad was the clear coat on the wing was coming off thats all.

That is not a good deal for a half _ _ _ done car on its 2nd engine by 90k and rear end damage, talk about some lack of care for a beautiful car.

Don`t EVER buy a modified car imo. They`re modified for a reason,to be driven like they stole em. Buy a 100% bone stock G35.

You have to be patient and wait for a deal to come up. Check M5board.com as well.

Don't get me wrong, they aren't common at that price but since buying mine (and paying much closer to 20) I've seen a couple decent ones around that price range.

That 15k M5 is actually at 12.5k right now.

I seriously suggest you test drive an M5 and see if it is your cup of tea. It may not be. I also suggest the same for an '03/04 Cobra, they are monsters.

Yes, that's the gamble. But a high performance car (when kept stock), as long as it was maintained, even when driven hard should be OK.

^^That's a good point.^^

Buying any modern car that has had a supercharger slapped on it aftermarket is a HUGE risk. Especially that G35 which is already a pretty highly stressed engine stock.

Get a stock or near stocker that is the prescription.

I don't want that old (don't like older model style) but if I had enough money then I wouldn't mind getting used 2005 up M5. No American car for me that won't fell in my book. Only import/German. Even though I appreciate u helping me.
