Went to a a ratrod car show and all day on a main city street in a industrial area with no police presents people lined up watching 100+ cars , bikes and trucks roasting their tires. Question we all know tires smoke is white but a few after smouldering for a minute or two would put off a yellow smoke for a short time then back to white. Anyone have a idea why.

Usually the white then yellow then white means a new Pope has not been chosen.
Where they using bleach for the burnouts? was the road surface getting worse with each burn-out?

No bleach just alot of rubber on surface and tires weren't always in the same spot.

Used to think spinin was winin in the 70's. Maybe I had unresolved ANGER issues. I have grown up now and find this practice absurd.
I could back up a dog slow camaro straight six auto out of a parking space and do a 50 ft burnout.
Means nothing other than you have Juvenile tendencies.

Or just expensive tires in general. I knew a kid in the 90's who used to do little burnouts all the time. He got a new set of Z rated tires and they were bald after less than 5k miles. They were over $200 each. I think he stopped after that.

Power braking my vette gives me a boner. There are lots of things people waste time and money on. Like going to the range and burning thru a couple hundred bucks in ammo.

I work with this guy...Oz champion...he's neither juvenile, nor has unresolved anger issues...he's regularly the best at what he does.
Not a drinker or smoker, family guy, teaching his sons the family art, competing at what he likes.
