Magnetic you say? Is it a good drain plug? How good is the magnet and built-in seal/gasket?

you couldn’t tell it from the gm factory plug if it weren’t for the magnet.

I wonder how strong is the Dorman magnet compared to Goldplug magnet? I wonder how well/long the Dorman magnet will retain its strength after repeated heat cycles?
