Buh Bye Rain X

I just bought a new bottle of Rain-X at Wal Mart. I noticed the price went up by a Dollar. That was alright, then I saw
it went from 16 ounces to 12 ounces. What is a better choice? Thank you

You should consider buying the small, 6-oz (??) bottles that you manually apply with a towel/rag. In my experience, it works better but is more "work" to do.

Presuming you're now talking about their 16-oz spray that's $5.76, that's $0.36/ounce. If it was previously $4.76 for 12-oz, it increased less than 4¢ per ounce. Your call if you want to ditch them for that outrageous increase....

I just tried Griots Ceramic spray wax and it states it can be used on paint, trim, glass etc. When I used it I put it on the windshield and was pleasantly surprised. Works similar to rain X and is lasting pretty good.

Although i use ICE, I don’t use the Spray Wax because it smears. I use the ICE Detailer. Works great.

Ditto DITTO. Once you start using it, you must continue using it, otherwise the blades will chatter.
I only use it on the tip of a cloth to clean the scum from the end of the wiper swipe.

I found Rain-X washer fluid is a far better alternative. I spray it once before pulling out every morning.

I did. Nonetheless, Rain-X made my wipers chatter, including the Rain-X washer fluid solution.

Never again. I get better value with the more expensive Soft 99 Glaco which actually repels rain and lasts.

Griot's makes a great product for glass. Lasts much longer than Rain-X

I've been running slightly dilute RV potable antifreeze with great results. You can drink it, sanitize with it too;
and it is not toxic to breath like methanol based products.
But the time to buy was early Summer when WM was blowing it out for 2 bucks a gallon.
No wiper chatter due to the percentage of propylene glycol in the mix.

I used to rub carnauba wax on the windshield. Worked great!
