I'll go with the Senoritas but that Corona is some skunky beer

Here are the two best kinds of beer:

1. The one you like at the moment you drink it.

2. The one that's free.

I do enjoy Corona when I eat at one of the restaurants here that is on the beach. And Tecate is an awesome shower beer.

Corona will always have a special place in my heart. Apparently it is considered a junk been in Mexico though?

I was never an under aged drinker and a Corona was the first thing that popped in my mind when the GF took me out of my 21st birthday. The place gave it to us on the house too which was nice. The offered to give me another, but I passed.

Have you tried the other Ommegang? Great beers

I have. They're all top-notch. The brewery is a great place to visit too.

I bet! lol that would be great

I'll be getting some Budweiser!

A whole case of it!

And looking down on all the effete beer snobs...they can have their hipster pumpkin peach ale...they can dissect their beer...they can feel superior...I don't care...

I will be enjoying the look, the taste, the experience of long neck Budweiser beer bottles, macro brewed, beechwood aged, brewed the hard way, on my workbench next to the "greatest battle implement ever devised"...enjoying the mix of aromas, of hops mixing with Hoppe's...

Can it get any better?

I submit that it cannot!

Yes, it could: you could buy beer that is actually from an AMERICAN company.

Were you and a buddy camped a few spots away from me about 5 years ago?

Camping in central VT, it had been a long day (left the house ~5am), went to bed early. Around 1am, woke up to what sounded like someone getting murdered! What the...?!?! Look around, see movement near a tent nearby. Look closer...there's the noise again, from that direction. What the..........?

Nobody was getting killed, though I was ready to do so when I figured out what was happening! Seems that two idiots had camped ~50-100' away had then gotten loaded. After about a case of Corona each, they thought that 1am was a grand hour to start %^&*&^% YODELING!

Seriously: just how DRUNK do you have to be in order to think that a yodeling contest at 1am is a good idea?!?!

You don't have to like super hopped microbrews to appreciate a good lager. I still like a nice micro now and then but here is what I drink 90% of the time at home. Adjunct free, pre-prohibition recipie, brewed less than 100 miles from my house by an employee owned brewery. Runs about a buck a beer...

Brewed less than 50 miles from my house, just a few miles from where I used to be stationed....Budweiser!

Nothing like a local brew!

Corona is my absolute FAVE beer!! I'll squeeze a lime in it and to me it tastes like liquid candy, yum!!

Corona has a special place in my heart too,as it was the very first beer I ever bought when I was under age :^) My best friend and I from high school (was back in the 80's sometime,we were either 15 or 16) were in Mexico and we bought a case of Corona. Everywhere we went,we walked around with a Corona in out hand, thinking we were all that and more haha! Good times!!

After shooting (the aforementioned M1, 1917 Enfield, a S&W 5906 and H&K USP, in case you were wondering) we stopped off at my friend's house and had a couple of Dos Equis.

It's just beer, guys....

The last time I tasted a corona I made a face that I'm pretty sure looked like I'd take a big swig of lime concentrate. And not in a good way.

Those look like some good beers, Nick. I've had a few of them.

But please don't tell me what to like, or that what I like is $&&@ water...this topic is subjective.

I started drinking beer, legally, before you were born...likely before the OP was born. I've tried beer in over 30 countries, and in every one of our fifty states. Beer runs in my family, my cousin started a successful brewpub in Philly.

I know what I like, what is good, what isn't, and I know what I'm in the mood for at any given time. Beer doesn't exist in a vacuum. It has to be paired with the food,,with the occasion, with the climate even. Sitting by a coal fire in a pub in Dublin last week, while it was snowing outside, trying to get warm, a stout was in order...see what I mean?

And the snobbery in this thread rankles me. They're missing the pairing, the selection.

The folks in this thread that are offended by the Budweiser ad take themselves far too seriously. They lack the perspective to view this ad with humor, or at least equanimity. Unless you're dressing like a hipster and being a beer snob, then, yeah, you could be offended, because it was making fun of you!

Guinness isn't worth drinking. When I want a stout I skip the useless Irish stouts and get a real stout. Something like Yeti or Old Rasputin. How that for snobbery!

Well...I won't dispute that there are many good stouts out there...

However, I've found that the local quaffs usually go well with the local cuisine, and Guinness is pretty popular, both in Dublin proper and Ireland in general.

But it's not the only stout I enjoy, nor was it the only beer I had in Ireland....
