Really. REALLY. So apparently people who like craft beers and hate the [censored] water known as budweiser are hipsters, and worthy of scorn now. Thanks Budweiser, as if I needed one more reason to hate you and not drink your pathetic excuse for beer.
 
They have to do something I guess since people are really into good tasting beers now.
 
Haha.. Yeah I don't drink the stuff either.
Once I started trying other beers, it became very apparent that you have to look hard for the real good ones. And the good ones are not Budweiser or Coors.
 
AB must be feeling the pain from craft beers. Good. I'll celebrate that with a Three Philosophers from Brewery Ommegang.

I only drink bud if I want a bad day. [censored] water with a hangover. I'm a Widmer Brother hefe fan myself.
 
Yeah, I don't drink but once in awhile, so I drink the good stuff when I do....

Only regular beer I drink now is molson canadian now...

I have. They're all top-notch. The brewery is a great place to visit too.

Drinkers of craft beers have taste, bud drinkers do not. Hipsters on the other hand have no taste, their obsession with PBR and everything ironic is proof enough.
 
Why are you getting so bent out of shape by a marketing campaign? Where is the angry thread about GM saying that men who drive trucks are sexier than men who do not?

That commercial went after a specific demographic as AB tries to restore some of Budweiser's declining market share. Hating hipsters is the hip thing to do now, after all.

And how else are AB and the other major brewers dealing with the increasing popularity of craft brews? I loved the commercial!! Makes me want to drink a Budweiser right now. Even though I prefer Natural Light. Those hippies and beer snobs at the local micro brewery can keep their fancy high dollar stuff. I like my beer cheap and cold!

I thought it was funny. I don't drink Budweiser, normally either Newcastle, Sam Adams, or Firestone DBA, but I did enjoy the commercial. I tend to laugh at people that obsess over the individual tastes associated with the beer I think because most of the people that I know that do it, literally don't know what they are talking about.

I think we found AB's target market! If you didn't like the commercial, then it wasn't written for you. I for one think the Carl's Jr./Hardee's commercials with pretty much naked women are deplorable and would get me to say "they can shove it" before this commercial would.

I also loved the commercial. I am not much of a beer drinker but am trying various brews to see what my taste buds may enjoy. I have never had Budweiser, Coors, or Miller, but would have no qualms drinking such if I enjoy the flavor. That's what drinking beer is about after all, right?
