Bubble in sidewall

You need to start buying your tires from Discount Tire and purchase the replacement certificates. Heck, with your recent track record you might not ever have to buy another set of tires, just re-purchase a new cert every time they replace a tire

Costco did not serve me well.

Two Michelin HydroEdges that I bought at Costco failed with sidewall bubbles a little more than a year after purchase. Costco replaced them pro-rated cost (based on treadwear) plus the customary installation/balancing fee which was more than I paid for the original tires since Michelin gave me rebate.

Later when two of my tires wore out with edge wear (at just under 50K miles), Costco would not honor their tread wear warranty, alleging that my car was improperly aligned. The two newer tires had slightly more tread but all four tires exhibited exactly the same wear pattern. Moreover, I had rotated these tires every 6K miles at Costco (and had them refilled with nitrogen according to Costco's specs). Despite inspecting the tires every 6K miles, no one Costco noticed any problems with my alignment until my tires wore out. Given the identical edge-weighted wear pattern (both inside and out) on all four tires, no rational person would have agreed that my tires wore out prematurely because of misalignment. Costco simply concocted "misalignment" as an excuse not to honor my treadwear warranty.

The tread on Michelin HydroEdges is shallower on the outer portions of the tire; if you want even wear, you need to use higher inflation pressures than the manufacturers' specs (35 psi for my MPV).

For the record, about a year after I replaced my tires, I had all four wheels aligned at NTB. As I expected, my existing alignment was nearly perfect; essentially no changes had to be made.

Despite Costco's pretenses and their "goody two-shoes" reputation, Costco will rip you off just like many other tire dealers. Since that fiasco, I buy all my tires either at DicountTire or internet outlets (and have them installed at NTB/Walmart).
