My nephew in Oregon was willed this 1925 Ford. We went "Down the hill" to riverside,Ca and brought it to my place for now.

It's more complete than I thought it was. It has an engine and drive line. The fenders and running boards are in the bed of my truck. I just may have to see if I can get it to run. I know you retard the timing and crank the handle with your left arm.

My old non turbo is diesel Ford Truck pulled it up Cajon pass better than I thought it would. It held 50 mph in 3rd gear @3000 rpm.

Those old cars don't weigh anything. Happy tinkering!

IIRC, there's no water pump, they just rely on the thermo-siphon effect to circulate water and cool the motor.

If I remember correctly, there is no engine. Maybe an EV conversion?

They did have electric versions back then too. Maybe some LiFePO4 cells for long life, abuse tolerance and nil risk of fire.

My truck still didn't like it! Stupid 3.55 gears.... Needs 4.11's
Is that CA-58?

I remember climbing those hills with a 72 hp NA diesel.

This was about as good as I could sustain:

That old Ford looks like it would be an awesome project, such a piece of history!
