Broken lower control arm/lower link

Yup, it was a nail in my tire that I must have picked up inside of the pot hole that I sunk into. The nail was in an area of the tread the made it easy to plug. The nail was quite obvious and I didn’t see any others. I’ll still keep an eye on the tire over the weeks.

This is great news! Nissan definitely did the right thing here.
How are the new control arms in regards to rust? Did they update them or just keep changing with the same?

Oh, I don’t know if these control arms are an updated version. I’m thinking they’re not. They are nice & shiny black.
The car will be going as soon as we get another. I want the next owner to get a good car and I’ll probably do a pad slap at minimum. I may need to do the brakes while I still own the car as I have a NYS Inspection coming up.
