Brighter Headlight Bulbs ?

Yup. I guess it's a difficult thing to express and explain and for someone to grasp since our eyes are literally the windows to the world. I can see why people jerryrig LEDs and HIDs into halogen headlights since the floodlight in front of the car gives the impression of much better lighting lol

You still haven't explained how the blinding OEM lights are actually good and well designed implementations. For some reason you're getting hung up on the aftermarket.
Or is your answer "don't trust your eyes"?

Thats easy the aftermarket led bulbs have the halo above the cutoff which is glaring to other drivers (done kid yourself).
Is that the right or left side vehicle in the photo? Edit: I'm going with you think it's the right side and you'd be wrong (don't kid yourself right?)...just the OEM/stock LEDs on my Atlas. So funny.

The answer is you can’t trust your eyes. It is a proven fact.

Really? Then why are you guys installing brighter halogens and what are you basing your "experimentation" and conclusions with HIDs on?

Also, why would most manufacturers state that you can aim your headlights against a wall, if you couldn't trust your eyes?

I’ve been doing brighter halogens for two years now, and have recently experimented with drop in HID setups. This is my main issue with the claims of the drop in LEDs. Even if patterns are maintained, yeah they’re brighter but I haven’t found that to necessarily mean better. Too much of a good thing applies.

I’m doing nothing of the sort. I live in the 21st century. Other than having my matrix lights activated I’m 100% street legal. And as far as manufacturers aiming their headlights, they are assuming you are aiming legal headlights with stock bulbs. It’s not rocket science.
