briggs& stratton 842921 and 492932 interchangeable?

I have a vanguard small engine that uses 842921 filter but I saw them being listed as "replacement" of each other https://www.oilfilter-crossreference.com/convert/BRIGGS-STRATTON/842921.

Did a little googling on 492932 filter and some source said it was for Intek engine. Wondering if these are indeed interchangeable and I could use 492932 for my Vanguard engine as I saw some good deals on it. Thanks a lot.

I have used both on my Intek engines and would consider them interchangeable

Same thread size (3/4-16) and the gaskets line up. They appear to be interchangeable. I have some 842921's sitting around which I'll eventually use on my Cub Cadet with a Kohler KT725 engine. They give you the added benefit of a silicone anti-drainback valve. The 492932 has a nitrile rubber ADBV. Other than that, they appear extremely similar.
