If you are going to do them yourself I would recommend you buying premium pads.
You will save a ton of cash doing the labor yourself, and the premium pads typically last longer and work better.
I decided to go with Raybestos, both Rotors and Drums, on my front end (2002 Ford Taurus). I shopped around and got parts from Amazon. I saved a bundle with free shipping through my Prime membership.
(BTW, Be sure to check the manufacturer's website to make sure you are getting what you think you are getting. Don't trust Amazon to get their numbers straight.)
I'd actually be surprised if your brakes were going after 25,000 miles. I've gone quite a bit further on my Taurus. You might just want to clean them up check them and re-grease everything before putting it back together.
Of course if you are driving you Yukon in 100% city driving your 25,000 miles driving could be enough to wear things out.
In that case check your rotors, have them turned, and pick up some premium pads from where you like.
Again, Premium parts run a bit more, but since you are saving so much in Labor by doing it yourself you might as well put the savings back into your vehicle.
Also how many miles do you have on the vehicle?
What style of driving do you do?
How many brake jobs have you had?
Have you had new rotors since 2007?
Have the rotors been turned before?
Just curious.
