Kuato is right, our WJ's are hard on rotors and new cheap ones won't result in a happy ending. I've got pulsing issues on mine that are getting to the point I'm going to have to deal with it.

Those rotors have more beef in them and probably resist heat better. My experience has been, that any rotor on a car works fine, even duralast, as long as you torque the lugs every time, especially before they ever see heat. And use a good pad. The Akebonos should be a good pad, never tried them before. Usually pulsating rotors are from pad deposits from the brake pads welding themselves the rotor at stops. Better pads prevent this. Since using quality pads on new rotors with a torque wrench , I don't have problems. Make sure the wheel bearings are in good shape too.
I am sure the indy shop is properly torquing the lug nuts.

The Raybestos Advanced Technology rotors came and they look nice. Non directional and a squiggly slot.
Cast in China, finished in the USA.

used akebono pads and there is far more "pedal" than there was before, and the feel allows a lot of modulation. previous pads and rotors were dealer-maintained, and I'm guessing a semi metallic based on the previous rotor wear. This current combo is my new "go-to."
I suspect the rotors warped on the OP. centric/power-stop was good, I've heard have gone downhill, and there are allegedly some fakes out in the market under the same name and packaging.
