Brake Fluid Reservoir Change

Is there any benefit to changing the brake fluid in the brake fluid reservoir once a year? My plan is to spray down the brake master cylinder with brake cleaner before opening it, then use a vacuum extractor to extract the fluid out of the reservoir, and then replace the reservoir fluid with fresh brake fluid (DOT 3 in my case) up the the full line.

My thinking is that it would keep fresh brake fluid in the system and prolong its life.

I highly doubt it, it doesn't get cycled like you would think.

2 man pump and bleed methods is the best, when all else fails this method always works!

I hear the 1 person method is faster. Also probably easier.

+1 not a winter job if you are working in your driveway and live in a cold climate. I do mine every 5 years and i do it with the engine off and 2 people because i like how the pressure pushes out the junk!

Drain it, refill it, and start bleeding your brakes and refill the reservoir a few times. Then you'll have benefits.
