Brake Fluid Question

I just bought a 2019 VW Passat and I saw that the brake fluid was over the MAX line. It is almost impossible to get
to the reservoir. My question is, "is it OK to have a little more fluid?" Thankyou

Why not use a baster to remove the excess fluid?

I wouldn't worry about it until it is time to do pads. Then I would be careful when running the pistons back in that it doesn't overflow.

Like someone else said, once your pads start to wear the level will drop.

Sounds like the previous owner put new pads on it and either didn't change the fluid or changed it but carelessly refilled it. Check the color of the fluid. If's it getting darker, it's time to change it.

It's fine.
If you really wanna reduce the fluid and the MC is that difficult to get to, crack a bleeder and have someone press the brake pedal.

Again, people like me always have brake fluid over the line...

likely the heat or warm weather causing some expansion. nothing to worry about.
