Brake Fluid Bleeding, Mix Fluid?

I've done brake bleeds using 2 man method that make pedals feel like cinder blocks. No matter how much you bleed brakes though, power brakes will always have a more spongy feel.

My Motive is awesome. Did it for the first time by myself...what a difference. Use what Wilwood recommends for the caliper.

I always use the two man method when bleeding brakes. I put a hose on the bleed screw that is about 2' long and down into a bottle to catch the fluid. This method will NOT allow air to enter the caliper. Always close the bleed screw before removing the hose (as it's still full of pure fluid - no air). This insures a perfect bleed every time.

I think as far as manual bleeding goes the 2-man bleeding is effective for getting the air out, but I've seen stroking the master cylinder to the floor cause a mushy pedal at least temporarily and sometimes permanently. Especially on systems that haven't been bled regularly. A hand-held vacuum pump gets the air out and circumvents the problem and the need for a helper.
