Hi folks,

I did the brakes on my 2006 Toyota Camry last night and when I pulled the rubber caps on the brake bleeder valves, two of the four crumbled apart. I'd like to replace all four with new ones, just to be on the safe side, but I can't for the life of me find where to buy new ones.

I've checked the local AutoZone, called NAPA, and called the dealer. AutoZone and NAPA say they don't stock the caps (they do have the valves themselves, just no caps) and the dealer only has one or two and they're $1.89 each (!).

This is driving me crazy. Anyone know where I might find these elusive pieces of rubber?

I made one, by taking some hose that fit over the end of the bleeder, cutting it so it's about 1/2" long, and filling the end in with silicone RTV.

the HELP! section in OReilleys usually has them. When i got the speed bleeders for my mustang and volvo they came with new ones, i saved the factory ones somewhere because they actually have BREMBO molded into them.
